​Preschool
The building block in the foundation of dance. These classes focus on an introduction to dancing and helps develop coordination, perception, concentration, listening, and participating in a group setting.

Tumbling
A form of gymnastics that focuses on tumbling, balance, and stretch

​Tap​
Focus in utilizing foot patterns to create rhythmical sounds with metal plates in the ball and heel of the shoe. Classes include simple and complex rhythms, technique and terminology.

​Hip-Hop​
A form of jazz dance and actually has many forms. It is performed with upbeat, pop music (typically a form of rap or R&B), but it is always monitored for content and lyrics.

​Jazz​
Derived from ballet classes focuses on body isolation, coordination, and rhythm. This class helps to develop strength and flexibility.
​
Lyrical​
Fusion of ballet and jazz. Classes incorporate elements of ballet, modern, and jazz technique to freedom, fluidity, and expressively with grace.

​Ballet​
Foundation of all forms of dance. These classes develop poise, control, strength, flexibility, balance, and grace. All classes at SGL contain ballet and continues into advanced classes.

​Ballet Junior
Ages 5-8. Introduction to classical ballet.

​Ballet Intermediate
Ages 9-up. Progressive classical ballet.

​Ballet Advanced/Pointe
Ages 13-up. Intense classical ballet in preparation for pointe
